Ana Klašnja
Ana Klašnja finished the Ljubljana Secondary Music and Ballet School in 1998, receiving the Škerjanc Award for her successful work. She has been a member of the Ballet Ensemble of the SNG Opera in balet Ljubljana (Slovenian National Theatre Opera and Ballet Ljubljana) since 2001 and its distinguished soloist since 2015. She participated in many ballet competitions, winning Gold Medal in the 2nd Young Slovenian Ballet Dancers Competition in 1995, and a Silver Medal in the 3rd National Championship in 1997. In 2001 she became a Finalist in the 4th International Young Dancers Competition in Vienna and won a Gold Medal in the 6th National Championship in Maribor in 2003. In 2002 she danced her first soloist role as Clara in The Nutcracker – A Christmas Carol by Youri Vámos, for which she received the Lydia Wisiak Recognition Award. In 2004 she dazzled both critics and audiences as Cinderella in the choreography by Jean Christophe Blavier, as well as shined in her role of Juliet in Romeo and Juliet by Youri Vàmos, for which she received the prestigious Župančič Award. She has also appeared in many other ballet productions, such as Don Quixote (Kitri), Tristan and Isolde (Isolde), Yin & Yang (She is Missing), both parts of the ballet evening Tango for Rachmaninov, children's ballet Picko and Packo (Picko), the latest production of Swan Lake as well as in the soloist roles in La Bayadère, ballet evening Urbanobalet , ballet Unicorn, ballet evenings Under the Stars and Visibleinvisible as well as in La Sylphide (Effy), Giselle by David Dawson (Giselle and Bride), Apollo (Calliope), Les Noces (The Wedding) (Bridesmaid), Coppelia (Swanhilda), The Sleeping Beauty (Aurora), Ballet 100, Orphic Hymn (Evridilka), Symphony of Sorrowful Songs, Giselle (Giselle), Great Gatsby (Cathrin) and Le Corsaire (Gulnare).
She has been participating in one of the most popular TV shows in this country - Slovenia's Got Talent as one of the judges for the sixth season in a row.
