Erica Pinzano
Erica Pinzano began training at Axis Danza Ballet School in Udine (Italy) under Prof. Nicolaeta Joachim Josifescu. She graduated from the University of Dance and Theatre (LUDT – Libera Università di Danza e Teatro) in Mantua.
Erica joined the corps de ballet at the SNG Opera in balet Ljubljana (Slovenia) in 2020 and was promoted to Soloist in 2023. Before this, she collaborated with the Romanian National Opera in Iasi (2016-2019).
Her repertoire includes roles such as Kitri in Don Quixote by Denis Matvienko, Myrtha and Moyna in Giselle by Carlos Josè Martinez, the Snow Queen in The Nutcracker by Youri Vámos, as well as appearances in neoclassical pieces like Bolero, Love and Romeo and Juliet (Rosalinda) by Renato Zanella and The Great Gatsby (Myrtle) by Leo Mujić. She also performed in several contemporary works such as Metamorphers (Dafne) by Jacopo Godani, The Little Prince (Snake) and A Chosen Landscape (Duet) choreographed by Lukas Zuschlag.
She has also appeared as a guest artist at several international festivals, such as the Gran Galà di Danza in Ancona, where she performed pieces from Corsaire and Bayadere alongside Kleber Rebello.
In 2021, she won third place in the Senior Category at the International Ballet Competition Mia Čorak Slavenska in Zagreb.
