Kenta Yamamoto
Kenta Yamamoto was born in Japan. From 2004 to 2008 he studied at the Shanghai Dance School in China. In 2008 he enrolled at the Royal Ballet School in London, where he studied until 2010. In 2006 he attended the K-Ballet Summer Ballet School in Japan and in 2010 the Los Angeles Southland Summer Ballet School in the USA. Among his outstanding achievements on stage were the appearances in Swan Lake and the Spanish Dance from the same ballet at the Dance School in Shanghai (2006, 2007), variations from the ballets Don Quixote and Giselle in Japan (2008), Coppélia in the London Royal Ballet School Annual Production (2009), variations from the ballets La Bayadére and Swan Lake (Act III.) in Japan (2009), as well as Cinderella (2010) and La Valse (2010) in the London Royal Ballet.
Kenta Yamamoto has been a member of the Ballet Ensemble of the SNG Opera in balet Ljubljana (Slovenian National Theatre Opera and Ballet Ljubljana) since 2010. He has distinguished himself with outstanding creations in the following ballet productions: The Nutcracker – A Christmas Carol (Prince, Guardsman, Waltz Solo, Nutcracker's Ghost), Giselle (Witness), Stravinsky (Children from the Edge of Reality, and the leading part in Apollo), Coppélia on Montmartre (Franz), Sleeping Beauty (Prince, Bluebird) and Don Quixote (Bazil, Espada), Tristan and Isolde (Tristan), Swan Lake (Prince Siegfried), Romeo and Juliet (Romeo), Ballet 100, Orphic Hymn (Orpheus), Symphony of Sorrowful Songs, A Man with a Knife / Composition, Giselle (Albrecht) and Le Corsaire (Conrad).
