Baritone Ivan Andres Arnšek, who was born in Argentina, is a distinguished opera soloist of the SNG Opera in balet Ljubljana (Slovenian National Theatre Opera and Ballet Ljubljana). He studied solo singing in the Opera Studio under Professor Doroteja Cestnik Spasič.

He has created numerous supporting roles: Germont (La traviata), Marcel (La bohème), Sharpless (Madama Butterfly), Figaro (The Barber of Seville), Parmenione (Opportunity Makes the Thief), Prosdocimo (The Turk in Italy), Emperor Überall (The Emperor of Atlantis), Gruden (Love Capital), Tomaž (The Brothers), Smirnov (The Bear), Feri von Kerekes (The Gipsy Princess), Doctor Falke (The Bat), Conrad (The Rhine Nixies) and Count Almaviva (The Marriage of Figaro). He has been also performing as a concert singer of sacred and ethno music.
