Marko Hribernik
Slovenian conductor, born into a musical family, began his musical career as a pianist and graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana under Professor Aci Bertoncelj. He received the Student Prešeren Award for his remarkable pianistic achievements. While still studying piano, he also decided to pursue his conducting career, first at the Ljubljana Academy of Music under Professor Anton Nanut and later at the University of Music in Vienna under Professor Uroš Lajovic, where he graduated with honours in 2014. He works with all Slovenian orchestras and both national opera theatres. He appears as a guest conductor at various musical festivals at home and abroad. Marko Hribernik is an Assistant Professor at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and a Conductor at the SNG Opera in balet Ljubljana (J. Golob, Love Capital; M. Lazar, The Tenth Daughter and Code L; W.
